I love Fall and especially love to decorate for it. I am inspired by so many things around me, friends, magazines, HGTV of course. haha! If you get creative you can copy many ideas from many sources. My much loved source is Pottery Barn. Here are a few of my projects mostly inspired by PB. My friend Wendy made some adorable pumpkins made out of fabric and real stems. I thought I would give it a try, and really loved how they turned out. The hardest part about making these is being lucky enough to find some pumpkin stems at the bottom of the boxes they sell them in the stores. You really have to fish around to find one. lol..I used dupioni silk for these, next time I want to try some beautiful crushed velvet. For fun I added some dried basil leaves around the stem for more real effect.
|Painted these cute side tables I bought from a local Antique store, also painted the lantern on the table that I got from Kohl's. I am not good at taking before photos. Note to self...take before photos:) My first time using Annie Sloan chalk paint. No need to sand or prime before painting. Love it!|
