Love your Laundry room

A laundry room is usually the place where piles of clothes wait patiently to be washed and dried and loved,  We can't wait to get it done and get out of there! Why not make it a place that makes you happy and want to wash everyone's clothes all the time. Seriously! Ok, maybe not that.. but I believe that you can make any place pretty and it doesn't have to cost you a ton of money. I know my laundry room is pretty big but believe me I haven't always had such a place. Because it is so big, I wanted to find a way to make it feel cozy and not so much like a laundromat. Most of the items in here I have either had already and repurposed them somehow or I found some treasure at GW. I got the these frames from a garage sale and painted them all black, then I found a botanical calender at GW, I cut out the flowers that I liked and used double sided tape to put them on the glass. I love how they fill up the wall space above washer and dryer. It really makes a statement but only cost me about $5.

See this wire basket! You would not believe that it used to be an old fryer basket!!! Bought at GW for $1. A few coats of red spray paint and I love how it turned out. Great for holding all our lovely magazines.
